Our Philosophy
We believe that children require developmentally appropriate programs to meet their social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs as well as to enjoy successful experiences. We believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy and oriented to children. Our educational centers are set up to allow children to explore, to play and learn to make choices. We believe that the dedication of our teaching staff is the strength of our program. We support our teachers with training, resources and the freedom to provide a unique learning experience for the children. We believe parents are the most significant adults in a child’s life and strive to create mutual respect between parents and teachers, a partnership for the benefit of the child. Our doors are always open to parents and teachers and we encourage daily communication between parents and our staff. We believe in and value people: the children in our care, their parents and our employees. We strive each day to be the best and continually work to earn their trust in us. Come and learn with us!

Every Child Grows at Their Own Pace
No two children are the same, and we never expect them to be. Some kids walk early, some talk early, some are quiet thinkers. We meet every child exactly where they are and help them move forward at a speed that feels right for them never rushed, never left behind.
Play is How Children Learn Best
We take play seriously because that's exactly what children do. When a toddler builds a block tower and knocks it down, they're learning about cause and effect. When kids play pretend, they're building language and empathy. We create space for all of that, every single day.
Families Are Part of Our Team
You know your child better than anyone. That's why we keep the conversation going not just at pick-up time, but really talking with you about how your child is doing, what they're excited about, and what support they might need. We're in this together.
Kindness is Taught, Not Told
We can't just tell children to be kind we have to show them every day. Our teachers model patience, respect, and empathy in everything they do. When children see adults treating each other well, they pick it up naturally. That's the culture we build here.
Safety is the Base of Everything
A child can't explore, create, or connect if they don't feel safe. We work hard to make sure every child no matter their background or personality feels secure at Kids First. A safe child is a learning child.

Our Mission
Kids First Preschool is dedicated to the enrichment of the quality of the children’s lives. We believe in allowing our students to reach their fullest potential through the development of their body, mind and spirit. Our program is sufficiently staffed to meet the needs of and promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of the children.

Our Approach to Learning
We blend structured learning with free, open ended play because children need both. Here's how a typical day looks in our classrooms.
Creative Exploration
Every day includes time for art, music, and building things. We don't give children a picture to copy we give them materials and let them create. You'd be amazed what they come up with when you step back and let them lead.
Storytime and Language
We read together every single day. Books open up whole new worlds for young children, and the conversations that happen around stories the questions, the connections they make are some of the richest learning moments we have.
Outdoor Time, Every Day
Fresh air matters. Outside time isn't just a break it's where children develop physical skills, take healthy risks, and burn off the energy they need to release so they can focus and learn indoors.
